About Company: Our client is a trading & investment arm of an international conglomerate involved in a broad range of businesses including, but not limited to, international trading of key industrial materials such as steel and chemicals as well as fertilisers and other commodity products and developing Eco-friendly business.Position Overview:The Sales Officer / Business Development Officer will play a critical role in driving business growth and expanding our market presence. This position requires a proactive individual with strong sales skills, excellent market knowledge, and a passion for building lasting client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and contributing to the overall success of our sales and business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and trading sectors. Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand market share.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Set and achieve sales targets and objectives in line with company goals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify potential opportunities and threats. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance business development efforts.
  • Proposal and Negotiation: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to clients. Negotiate terms and agreements to secure contracts and drive revenue growth.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activities. Provide regular updates and recommendations to management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, project management, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree. (Preferred Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • No previous experience required
  • Multilingual preferred
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interest in business development and sales.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
